Crete is a small, but at the same time vast island, where you can discover the whole world! In Crete, you will find exotic beaches, lakes, high mountains, caves, forests, gorges, rivers, archaeological sites, historical monuments, monasteries, paths, villages, towns, …. You will enjoy sun in summer, snow in winter. Come and taste tsikoudia and the famous Cretan cuisine! With our many years of experience in transport and excursions, we are able to recommend the most beautiful places according to your interests and take you safely to them.

Daily excursion
Elafonissi
Duration: 8-9 hours

Description:
The excursion starts from your accommodation or any other point you choose. Initially, we head to the west of the island towards Kissamos and then cross various mountain villages in a southwestern direction. On the way to Elafonissi, we stop at the cave of Agia Sofia which is located in the village of “Katsomatados” and at a spot overlooking the Topolia Gorge. After reaching Elafonissi, there is plenty of time for swimming and entertainment. On the way back, we make a stop at the traditional village of “Elos” for lunch. This excursion could be combined with a stop at the monastery of Chrysoskalitissa just outside Elafonissi.

Stops:

1. Agia Sofia Cave
The Cave of Agia Sofia is located 47 km southwest of Chania city, on the road to Elafonissi. It is a cave of historical interest with stalagmites and stalactites inside. It also has beautiful views and natural beauty, making it a perfect place for photography and rest.
2. Elafonissi
Located 76 km southwest of Chania city, Elafonissi is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe and one of the few pink sand beaches in the world. It has crystal clear waters, a magnificent landscape and an organized beach with sunbeds and canteens.
3. Elos
Elos is a picturesque village 20 km from Elafonissi, full of plane trees and chestnut trees, built at a height of 560 meters from the sea. In this village, the visitor has the opportunity to experience the traditional Cretan flavors and the hospitality of the local residents.
4. Monastery of Chrysoskalitissa
The Monastery of Chrysoskalitissa is located just before Elafonissi and overlooks the Libyan Sea. It is a stop of religious interest, with beautiful views and a great history. It can be combined with your visit to Elafonissi.

Discover the local traditional attractions
Duration: 5-6 hours

Details:
The excursion starts from your accommodation or any other point you choose. Initially, we visit the archaeological site of Ancient Aptera, then we cross various villages of Apokoronas province and visit the Historical Folklore Museum of Gavalochori, the Holy Monastery of St. George in Karydi, a local olive mill and, finally, Lake Kournas where there will be time for lunch or coffee. This excursion could be combined with stops for coffee, lunch, wine tasting or swimming in the sea.

Stops:

1. Ancient Aptera
Ancient Aptera is one of the most important city-states of Crete and is a landmark worth visiting. Within the archaeological site, there is the ancient theatre, the three-aisled tank, while a little further away is the fortress of Koules with a magnificent view of the bay of Souda and the White Mountains.
2. Historical Folklore Museum of Gavalochori
The Historical Museum of Gavalochori has been operating since 1968 and houses great objects related to Cretan culture and tradition. This museum is essentially the model of a Cretan traditional house and its design makes the visitor feel the hospitality and warmth of our land.
3. Holy Monastery of St. George, Karidi
The monastery of St. George is located between the villages of Vamos and Vrisses of Apokoronas. In this location, there is one of the oldest olive mills in Crete and in combination with a visit to a modern olive mill, one can understand the technological development of the last century.
4. Local olive mill
By visiting one of the many local olive mills in the area, the visitor can taste the local olive oil and learn about the production process from the stage of harvesting to consumption.
5. Lake Kournas
It is the largest natural lake in Crete, located between the western slopes of the White Mountains and has a magnificent view. Its maximum depth is 22.5 meters and its shape is circular. Around the lake, there are cafes and taverns where visitors can discover Cretan cuisine. Also, an interesting activity that one can enjoy in the lake is water bikes.

Knossos
Duration: 8 hours

Description:
The excursion starts from your accommodation or any other point you choose. We head to the east of the island towards Heraklion crossing the North Road of Crete. In Heraklion, we first visit the palace of Knossos and then the Archaeological Museum, which is located in the city center. After the visits of historical interest, there is plenty of time for shopping and lunch. A stop in the town of Rethymno for coffee, lunch and shopping can be added to this excursion.

Stops:

1. Knossos
It is the most famous site of archaeological interest on the island and one of the most important in Europe. It is located a few kilometers outside the center of Heraklion and there are traces of habitation in the palace area from the Neolithic period (7000-3000 BC)
2. Archaeological Museum of Heraklion
It is one of the oldest and most important museums in Greece and one of the most important in Europe. It houses the most important collection of Minoan Artifacts in the world and is called “The Museum of Minoan Civilization”.
3. Heraklion
Heraklion is the capital and the largest city of the island in terms of population and area. Apart from the great sights, it has many shops, beaches, restaurants and cafes.
4. Rethymno
Rethymno is the 3rd largest city in population on the island and is located between the prefecture of Chania and the prefecture of Heraklion. It consists of a beautiful seafront, the Venetian castle of Fortezza, many cafes, taverns, shops and is famous for its picturesqueness.

Chania – Holy Trinity Monastery – Marathi
Duration: 6-8 hours

Description:
The excursion starts from your accommodation or any other point you choose. We first head to Chania city where there is time for coffee, shopping and strolling. We then head to the Akrotiri area and visit the Tombs of Venizelos, the monastery of Holy Trinity and the coastal village of Marathi for swimming and lunch.

Stops:

1. Chania
Chania is the old capital of Crete and the second largest city in terms of area and population. It is famous for its beautiful old town with its picturesque alleys and seaside beauty. In Chania, there are many traditional taverns, cafes and shops for shopping.
2. Venizelos Tombs
The Venizelos Tombs are located just outside the city center of Chania on the road to the airport and are a place with an incredible view of the old town of Chania. In this place, there are the graves of the great Greek politician and seven times Prime Minister.
3. Holy Trinity Monastery
The monastery of Holy Trinity is located 15 km from Chania city near the airport. It is one of the richest and most beautiful monasteries of the island, of historical importance and surrounded by countless olive trees and vineyards.
4. Marathi
A seaside village located east of Chania city at a distance of 17 km. Due to its southern orientation, the wind is absent making the beach calm and peaceful most days of the summer. In Marathi, there are several fish taverns with fresh fish and beautiful views of the sea and the White Mountains.
